A few days ago I turned 35 and even though this post is slightly delayed and almost lost in all the holiday craze, I figure my latest trip around the sun deserves some "air time"...
This year has been full of ups and downs at the personal level as I have struggled with the many responsibilities that come with being a mother of 3 young children; I have had emotional days where I have felt nothing is "right" in my life; I have spent so much time feeling like a single mother since Iggy travels so much for work... but I have also grown and accomplished so much, including launching a sweet business (The Sweet Business), growing closer to my daughters and feeling more comfortable in my own skin.. it has been such as wonderful year...
As I enter the "non-millennial" age category (that's an inside joke!), I feel so blessed to have the life I have and I cannot wait to see what the new year brings for me...
I am thankful for every friend that I have, every opportunity that has come my way, every tear I have shed and every reason for which I have smiled this year... I am one lucky girl!
