33!

Every year when I celebrate my birthday I can't help but feel overjoyed by all the blessings in my life. When I stop to think about where I've been and what I've done, I feel satisfied but even more excited to see what else will come ahead!

This has been the year of spiritual growth and soul searching,  the year to think about how I can be a better person and what things I can do to change the world around me, the year to focus on lessons learned from every mistake I made (and believe, there are tons of those!). I have met wonderful people and have lived great experiences since my last birthday and I know life will keep getting better.  I am blessed!

This year I missed my Grandma and her early phone call, she was always the first person to call me on the morning of my birthday so it was hard not to hear her voice on this day for the first time...wherever you are, Grandma, please know that you were on my mind all day and I would give everything I have to hear you say "happy birthday, mi amor" one more time!

I spent the day with my family in Savannah, GA.  The day was rainy and gloomy but in spite of the yucky weather, my heart was  happy and my smile was shining all day!

Thank you to every person who took time out of their busy day to send me a message and show me some love; your warm wishes are very much appreciated and forever cherished! I am blessed to have you in my life!  Happy 33rd to me!
