I have to say that I was a bit hesitant since the critics only gave it 3 points out 10..but we still went.. and we really enjoyed it!
"Wreck-it Ralph" is about the "bad guy" in a video game called "Fix-it-Felix", which is part of a fun arcade.. Ralph gets tired of being this bad guy and decides to leave his game to try to get a medal in another game...his friends in the game quickly freak out and begin a search for Ralph...
In this process, he lands in a game called "Sugar Rush" and meets Vanellopee, a little girl who is a "glitch" in that game and asks Ralph to help her race in her game...
Ralph and Vanellopee become friends and the movies evolves around the importance of Ralph in his own game as well as the importance of friendship and the role of each "player"...there are also other great characters in this movie, which make the story very fun!
The movie is incredibly cute and the story is handled very well.. I also like the way in which the movie incorporates traditional arcade characters such as Sega, Pac-Man, etc..
There are a few "sleepy" moments, but overall it's very entertaining and very creative...
I give it 4 out of 5 stars... definitely worth a trip to the theater..
