Although the movie has been out since April, I just saw "RIO" this week..and can I say "wow"... I can't believe I waited so long to see this one..The whole experience was an adventure since I took both girls by myself...It was Gaby's first time so she was a little "overwhelmed" with the whole thing...but she did just fine!
The movie is an animated feature which narrates to story of a Blue Macaw, who was born in Rio but grew up in Minnesota after he was captured...
He goes back to Rio with his owner, after a bird specialist persuades her to take him so that he can save the species!
The bird goes through many adventures in RIO, which include falling in love, meeting new friends, escaping bird smugglers, learning to fly and even dancing in the Rio Carnaval... very cute!
The graphics and colors are amazing and the story line is funny and very refreshing! I loved this movie.. I give it 5 out of 5 stars! Go see it if you haven't already! ;)
