Here's another funny story of Olivia.. she comes up with the funniest things to say...Olivia's most recent fixation is about days of the week, every day she asks me "what day is today?" and goes on to ask me "do I have to go to school tomorrow?"... it's our little routine!
So one of these days she asked "when is my birthday?"... and I answered "July 17th!", so she said "I mean what day of the week?", so I answered "Sunday" (since it falls on a Sunday this year)...
So last Saturday we went to Disney World to celebrate my niece's birthday.. by the end of the night, in the midst of her exhaustion.. Olivia asks me "what day is tomorrow?"... so I answered "Sunday"... and she naturally responded "Cool, then it's my birthday tomorrow"... I said "No Olivia, tomorrow is not your Sunday"...She paused for a second and then said "Ok, you let me know when MY Sunday comes around!" How cute is that?
Her reasoning made all the sense in her little mind.. Little does she know that there are 50+ Sundays in a year and that we're still 5 months away from her birthday! Ohh! I wish everything was that simple!...
