I'm so torn today, because although it is a happy day, it is the first time that I'm going to spend my mom's birthday away from her.. It has been so rough not having her around and today I'm especially sad about it...I wish I could be with my mommy today and make her day extra special.. I love her and miss her so much and hope to travel to Alabama very soon to spend some quality time with her, my dad, sister and niece...
Our initial plan was to fly up there this weekend, but things didn't turn out the way we wanted them to and we could not make the trip... :(
Life is definitely not the same with them living in another town and I know that it will take a long time to adjust to this change!
